About the Program
The Business Energy Advisor Program was developed by the BC Government to help businesses use less energy and save money. The programs consist of four key steps:
- A walk-through energy audit and simple baseline assessment (approximately one hour).
- A report with the results of the audit and recommendations for opportunities that could result in reduced energy consumption, as well as information about financial incentives that could help finance some of the recommendations for improvement.
- A short presentation of the report to management and staff (approximately 30 minutes).
- We will then help you navigate or coordinate with incentive programs and identify contactors/service/technology providers to make any improvements you choose to pursue.
Not only will this program help you to identify ways to save money while reducing your energy consumption, at the same time, the actions that you choose to pursue can deliver meaningful environmental and social benefits that can be promoted to customers, the community, investors and current and prospective employees, providing an even greater benefit to your business.
